The Reality

The system is complex. Families are left to manage it alone.

A serious diagnosis rarely comes with clear guidance. Families must interpret conflicting opinions, identify the right specialists, coordinate appointments, and make high-stakes decisions under pressure.

Care Consult exists to provide structured, professional guidance at each stage of that journey.

Every engagement is documented, structured, and accountable — to the standard of your most trusted advisors.

How Care Consult Helps

Four ways we support families navigating healthcare decisions.

Here we introduce the services clearly.

01
Case Review
Structured
Second Opinion
Independent analysis before major medical decisions.

When a serious diagnosis or complex treatment plan is proposed, Care Consult performs a structured review of the medical file and provides independent clinical analysis.

Who We Serve

Private clients who expect more.

Care Consult is a private advisory firm. We serve a limited number of families at any time to ensure every client receives the full attention of a dedicated Consult. Discretion is not a feature — it is a condition of our practice.

  • Families navigating complex or multi-specialist care
Where multiple consultants are involved and no one is coordinating the whole picture.
  • Diaspora families managing care from abroad
When a family member in Kenya needs professional advocacy and you cannot be in the room.
  • Corporate clients supporting key personnel
Executive health advocacy as a benefit for senior leadership and their dependents.
  • Individuals with chronic conditions
Ongoing Care Coordination for clients whose health complexity demands a permanent point of contact.
Our Positioning

Our mother was seeing three specialists who never communicated with each other. Care Consult stepped in and within a week, we had a unified treatment plan and a written brief we could actually understand. For the first time, we felt like someone was in control.
Managing my father’s care from London was impossible until we engaged Care Consult. The weekly reports are precise, the communication is immediate, and I finally have an advocate in the room asking the questions I would ask if I could be there.
We retained Care Consult for our managing director after a complex diagnosis. The level of discretion and clinical coordination was exceptional — executive-grade in every sense. It is now a standard benefit for our senior leadership team.
After years of managing my condition alone, having a dedicated Counsel who tracks every lab result, every prescription change, every specialist note — it has genuinely changed the way I experience healthcare. Nothing falls through the cracks.
The post-consultation summaries alone are worth the engagement. Every appointment documented, every question answered in writing, every next step clear. Care Consult treats our family’s health with the rigour of a legal brief.
Common Questions

Before you
enquire.

We understand that engaging a clinical advisory firm is a new concept for most families. These are the questions we hear most often.

enquiries@careconsult.co.ke
01What qualifications do your Counsels hold?

Every Care Consult advocate holds a clinical degree — typically in nursing, pharmacy, or clinical medicine — with a minimum of five years’ practice in a hospital or specialist setting. They are not junior staff; they are experienced clinicians trained to interpret, coordinate, and advocate at a senior level.

02How is this different from getting a second opinion?

A second opinion gives you another doctor’s view. Care Consult gives you an advocate in the room — someone who prepares before the appointment, asks the right questions during it, documents everything after, and coordinates between all specialists involved. We do not diagnose or prescribe. We ensure the system works for you, not around you.

03Do you replace my existing doctors?

No. Care Consult works alongside your existing medical team. We do not prescribe, diagnose, or alter treatment. Our role is to coordinate communication, ensure nothing is missed, and provide your family with structured, written accountability for every clinical interaction.

04How is client confidentiality maintained?

Confidentiality is a condition of our practice, not a feature. All client records are held under strict clinical confidence. We do not share information with any third party without written consent, and all internal communications are encrypted. Our engagement agreements include a comprehensive confidentiality clause.

05Can you coordinate with specialists outside Kenya?

Yes. Many of our retainer clients have specialists in Nairobi, India, South Africa, and Europe. We coordinate across geographies — managing records transfer, appointment scheduling, and communication between all parties, so your family has a single point of contact regardless of where care is being delivered.

06What does the weekly executive summary include?

Retainer clients receive a structured report every Friday covering: all appointments attended, specialist communications, medication or treatment changes, pending investigations, and recommended next steps. It is written in clear, non-clinical language and designed for family decision-makers, not medical professionals.

07How quickly can an engagement begin?

For single appointments, we can typically mobilise within 48 hours of a signed engagement. Retainer engagements begin with a comprehensive file review, which takes three to five business days. Urgent situations are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

08Is Care Consult covered by health insurance?

Care Consult is a private advisory engagement, not a medical service, and is not currently covered by standard health insurance policies. Some corporate clients include our services as an executive benefit. We are exploring partnerships with select insurers for 2027.
